A newer version of the A320PIC-series by Wilco Publishing together with Feelthere, the producer of the popular 737PIC. This addon says it features all systems the real thing has, but unfortunately this is not the case. After many updates from the developer this addon has grown to become the best Airbus available for flight simulator. Of course there are still issues but these are small and can be avoided during normal flight operations. This addon features a 2D panel, VC and cabin, some utilities and realistic flight dynamics. Apart from that you can select the level of realism for user experience. This addon is also available for FSX.

Wilco Airbus Series Vol 2 (A330-200, A330-300, A330MRTT, A340-300, A340-600) - Price: € 36,95 - V-Bird livery available: No

The same product as volume 1, but with different aircraft. Some say this addon is actually better than volume 1. I agree that this product has a more finished feel to it, but both volume 1 as 2 provide the same experience.

Airsimmer A320 Basic Edition - Price: $ 39,95 - V-Bird livery available: No

The lastest Airbus-addon on the market. The outlooks for this project were very promising. Unfortunately during the past recession the developers decided to release their work, unfinished. They released their project in a basic edition, while an advanced version will be released later. Like I said before this is an unfinished version with a lot of bugs. The model itself is absolutely amazing, so are the sounds, but the panel lacks functionality and makes FS crash all the time. Actually it's impossible to normally fly this aircraft, which is a pitty because it has a lot of potential and the advanced version will probably never be released.

Payware but it’s a very good addon, one of the most famous flightsim-sites (www.avsim.com) gave this addon 5 stars! It includes detailed 3d textures, full moving parts, full night lighting inside and out, strobes and beacons set to Airbus specifications, fully-featured Airbus panel with expandable / undockable PFD, ND, ECAM etc, full 3D virtual cockpit, real IAE and CFM sounds, full onboard MCDU including SIDs STARs and airways, reflective texture mapping, new flight dynamics with built-in Airbus "fly by wire" protection, 5 detailed manuals with charts and checklists. Although this addon is very old it is as functional as the Wilco Airbus Volumes, without the shiny new technology added to it.

PSS A340 Professional - Price: € 29,95 - V-Bird livery available: No

Just like Wilco did PSS also released an addon built the same way as the first succesor but with different aircraft. This addon contains the A330 and A340. Because it is built exactly the same way as the A320 it has the same features.

Wilco A320 Pilot in Command - Price: N/A - V-Bird livery available: No

A320 PIC offers all the features of the highly acclaimed 767 Pilot in Command plus a full 3D active panel, complete freedom of movement into the cabin, and other exclusives that raise the realism altimeter to new heights. Developed and tested by an active Airbus pilot, A320 PIC gives simmers the meticulously detailed panels, the true-to-life Flight Management and Guidance Computer (FMGC) and dozens of nerve-wracking malfunction simulations. Personallly I think this addon was way ahead of its time. It's impossible to fly this aircraft as the performance parameters are wrong, the MCDU doesn't provide any functionality and you'll need a high-end computer.

Aerosoft Online Eurowings Airbus A319/A320 – Price: € 15,34 – V-Bird livery available: No

The model from Aerosoft contains all the main panels, animations and even includes a complete push back module. Includes additional modules like a load editor that loads you aircraft with passengers and weight. There is even a flight plan module that let's you select flight from the Eurowings flight schedule. For an aircraft in this price range it is surprising that a fully functional MCDU is included ("we choose the best one around, the one of Flight One, that will push your flight to superb realism"). No Virtual Cockpit is provided. This addon is rather old and not for die-hard Airbus-pilots.

Aerosoft Online LTU2005 Airbus A330/A320/A321 – Price: € 14,99 – V-Bird livery available: No

28 (!) liveries; two main models; vector designed displays for the best performance and the best resolution; all displays can be zoomed to be better readable; all displays can be dimmed for night use; navigation display will show route, all navaids and airports; Flight Control System with all the accurate modes; working FADEC system that controls your engines with 5 separate thrust modes; Flight Management System that will control your complete flight and will read default FS2004 flightplans; easy on framerates, so you can use complex scenery and other addons without problems. This addon is not very professional, but is meant for people who just want to fly and nothing else. The VC in this addon isn’t very good.

Wilco Airbus A380 v2 - Price: € 29,95 - V-Bird livery available: No

Definately the best A380-addon available nowadays. I'n not saying it's a very good addon, but it is the least worst. This addon features detailed model of the A380, 2D-panel, clickable 3D-panel, numerous liveries, real cabincrew-announcements, 3D cabin and 2 out of the 5 envelope protections. With the release of version 2 Wilco did improve their product, but untill more information about the real A380 is available we will never get an accurate A380 addon.

Airbus Collection: Long Haul - Price: € 37,95 - V-Bird livery available: No

An addon published under the F-Lite series of Justflight, although designed by CLS. F-Lite means this addon is suited for people who do not want to spend half an hour on MCDU programming but just want to fly. The model looks great, so do the liveries and sounds. The panel is not a replica of the real thing, but still gives you a feeling of flying the bus.

Some addons are so bad you don't want to be found dead flying one. These two addons are a shame to the payware addon market! Do not buy these addons, they are a ripoff!
