On todays market there aren't many great Airbus-addons for Flight Simulator. An Airbus is a very complicated aircraft and consequently a very difficult aircraft to model in FS. The best Airbus-addons out there are the Airbus Series from Wilco Publishing/Feelthere, closely followed by the ones from Phoenix Simulation Software (PSS), although these addons go back to the year 2001, have some flaws, they're still near the top of my list.
This is about to change! The developer Airsimmer and in the future even PMDG are working on very professional Airbus-replica's which they've been working on behind closed doors for years. Also Aerosoft is working on a 'light' Airbus, designed for beginners. Finaly we'll have a complete Airbus with a fully working FBW-system, ECAM-checklists and systems. This is great news, but most enthousiastic system-operators (Airbus-pilots ;) will get stuck in these addons as they are way more realistic and complicated than anything we know.
This site offers a wide range of information of both the simulated and the real Airbus. This way you'll get your bird airborn. When looking through this database you might get hysterical of complexity of an Airbus. You might think you'll never have to use all this, but if the future addons are as real as they say they will be, you're gonna need it!
